The Diamond Collection

Sometimes I think it’s easier to see things visually than just read them on a page. Especially when you are deciding whether or not you want to buy something!

You may remember the winner of my relaunch giveaway, Alex. Her prints and album arrived today! Her prize was a Diamond Collection photography package, worth $1000. So you can get an idea of what that money gets you, I took some pics of her completed package!

The Diamond Collection includes seven 6×8″ prints, six 8×12″ prints in a keepsake box, one 11×14″ print and an 8×8″ album including all images from your session, as well as a high resolution digital copy of each of the prints. All of the prints are printed on fine art paper and matted ready for framing.

The dresses

My husband asked me recently “why do you make the dresses for your photoshoots? Why don’t you just buy them? You’re not a seamstress”. It made me realise that maybe other people were wondering the same thing! So here is my reason.

When I meet you at your photoshoot, I can see the way you hold yourself and your style, as well as your body shape. I then use the lengths of fabrics that I have to fashion a dress that will fit you perfectly, and suits you. I add embellishments, ribbons, lace, flowers, sparkly things, whatever works with your dress. I can put the waistline wherever it looks great on you – empire, drop waist, natural waist. And I can choose colours of the dress details that compliment your skin tone and hair colour.

As well as being able to create a dress that is designed just for you, it also means that it is a one off piece. No one else will ever wear that dress but you, because at the end of the session, the pins are taken out and it all just becomes a pile of fabric again. And I think that’s a little bit special.
